Sometimes you need someone outside your family, church, or familiar circle who can listen carefully and help you prayerfully seek biblical perspective, spiritual discernment, and practical wisdom.
Opening your heart to a mature, respected, and experienced counselor who can listen, examine what is happening, and bring Scripture and prayer to bear where appropriate may bring clarity, direction, or even reveal a way forward you had not seen before. Sometimes simply knowing that there is a way forward can be freeing. This is where Pastor Bo comes into the picture.
Seeking counsel is not a confession of weak faith. It can be an act of wisdom, humility, and faithful stewardship.

What makes pastoral counseling different?
The objective is not merely to tell you what to do. It is to help you understand what is happening, identify what may be contributing to it, consider your responsibilities, and make godly decisions, choices, and constructive next steps consistent with your faith and circumstances, bringing peace to otherwise confusing situations along the way.
Concerns are approached through Scripture, spiritual discernment, prayer, pastoral wisdom, practical guidance, and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Prayer and appropriate ministry may be included when helpful and welcomed. The goal is not psychiatric or psychological diagnosis.
When medical, psychiatric, clinical, legal, or other specialized care is needed, an appropriate referral may be recommended while pastoral support continues where appropriate.

Before You Schedule
Clear expectations help make the counseling process easier for everyone. Here you’ll find important information about reduced-fee ministry accommodations, scheduling and payment, and our cancellation and rescheduling policy. Please review these details before requesting a session.
Ministry Accommodation
A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available each month for individuals, couples, and families experiencing financial hardship. Availability is limited and must be requested before booking.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Rescheduling with notice carries no extra charge, and any completed Arno Profile carries forward. Late cancellations may incur 50% of the session fee, and no-shows may be charged the full fee; Arno Profile costs already incurred are non-refundable either way. A first missed session or late cancellation may be waived — just reach out and let us know.
Scheduling & Payment
After your counseling request is reviewed, you'll receive available appointment times. Your selected time is held for 24 hours pending payment and is confirmed once payment is received.
Preparing for Your Session
After your appointment is confirmed, you'll receive the appropriate intake materials. Please complete them by the stated deadline so Pastor Bo has adequate time to prepare for your session.
