A Prophetic Voice Calling Believers from Milk to Meat
CRYOUT Ministry Outreach exists to teach truth, rebuke error, correct what has gone out of order, and give instruction in righteousness.
We call believers beyond inherited religion and spiritual infancy into mature discipleship under the living Christ, through His Word and by His Spirit.
CRYOUT did not begin with a plan to build another Christian organization. It began with a personal reckoning for its founder, Bola Olu-Jordan.
Before CRYOUT, Bola Olu-Jordan had already answered a call to ministry. He was ordained, planted a church, and watched it grow to hundreds of members within two years. By every visible measure, he was exactly where God wanted him.
But for eighteen months, an unmistakable tugging in his spirit would not leave. No counsel silenced it, not the assurance that fulfillment would come in time, not the warning that it was the enemy trying to pull him from his own success. It remained, until it came with a voice and a physical touch on his shoulder: "If a child of mine dies in the middle of disobedience, where would he end his life?"
He obeyed. He released the church he had built, declined two offers designed to keep him inside the same ministry structure, and stepped into an unknown call with no plan, no title, and no ministry name in mind.
Weeks later, in December 2001, Nigeria's Minister of Justice and Attorney General, Chief Bola Ige, a former state governor and one of the country's most prominent public officials, was assassinated in his own home. The killing shook the nation and exposed a justice system already strained by corruption. As the news broke, God spoke again, and the charge was clear:
"I will hold the church accountable for the murder of the Minister of Justice, for it was not a man that was murdered, but justice in the land. I will hold the church accountable, because she is failing in her duty; she is busy giving the world the wrong impression that My house is a place to get rich quick, rather than the house of holiness and judgment. Go and cry out to the church, for judgment must begin in My house. I will use you as a prophetic voice to the church, to teach the truth, rebuke error, correct faults, and give instruction in righteousness."
The first response was an article titled Justice Minister's Death: Your Guilt. What began as a circulated article was published nationally, became a regular newspaper column, then grew into a newsletter and an international Christian magazine.
The form of the work has changed over the years. The call has not.
CRYOUTREACH still speaks where truth has been criminally silenced, deliberately covered up, or carelessly forgotten. It still calls believers away from spiritual sleep, materialism, religious dependence, and teachings that cannot bear the full weight of Scripture.

What From Milk to Meat Means
Many believers have heard sermons for years, attended meetings, read Christian books, and learned familiar answers. Yet hearing more does not always produce maturity.
The writer of Hebrews describes people who ought to have become teachers but still need milk because they have not learned to use the Word with spiritual discernment. Milk is not evil. It belongs to the beginning. The problem is remaining there.
Moving from milk to meat means growing beyond borrowed convictions and passive Christianity. It means learning to search the Scriptures, test what you hear, obey what God shows you, recognize the leading of the Holy Spirit, endure correction, and live the truth in prayer, relationships, family life, spiritual conflict, fellowship, calling, and service.
CRYOUTREACH does not exist to gather people around Pastor Bo or make them dependent on a ministry. The aim is to help believers come under Christ, know His voice through the Holy Spirit, become grounded in His Word, and function faithfully within His body.
Jesus did not leave behind only a body of teaching. He rose from the dead and is alive.
This changes the meaning of discipleship. A believer is not called merely to follow the teachings of a departed religious founder. The believer is called to follow the living Christ.
CRYOUTREACH therefore does not place a pastor, teacher, mentor, school, or ministry between the believer and Jesus. Christ disciples His people through the Holy Spirit and the Word. Mature brethren may teach, correct, confirm, encourage, and help another believer find a sound place of fellowship. They may serve as Ananias served Paul or as Barnabas received him among the brethren. They must not take the place of the Holy Spirit or turn believers into their personal followers.
Our teaching and training must therefore lead people toward Christ, not toward dependence on us. The purpose is formation in Christ, not information about Him alone.

Why We Say Assembly
Assembly of the Acts Christian Fellowship seeks to recover New Testament worship and body life. Christ alone is the Head. Elders serve without creating a religious ruling class. Every believer belongs to the priesthood of Christ, and the gifts of the Spirit are exercised under the authority and testing of Scripture.
Our use of Assembly reflects this conviction. It points to believers gathered around Christ rather than an institution built around titles, denominations, personalities, or spectatorship.
The Assembly is a body, and every believer is part of its life. The brethren gather for the apostles' doctrine, fellowship, breaking of bread, prayer, worship, testimony, questions, spiritual gifts, mutual care, and the contribution of the body under biblical order.
We do not accept the clergy-laity pattern in which one spiritual personality performs while everyone else remains an audience.
We believe in the priesthood of all believers. Ministry functions such as apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher exist to serve and edify the body. They are not ranks that place some believers above the brethren.
Leadership in the local Assembly belongs to a plurality of recognized elders. No man owns the Assembly. No founder replaces Christ as its Head.
This conviction takes visible form in Assembly of the Acts Christian Fellowship, our New Testament gathering in McKinney, Texas.
What Governs the Work
These convictions describe how the Word, the Holy Spirit, the life of the believer, and service among the brethren must remain ordered.
Second Timothy 3:16 says Scripture is given for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. The Bible establishes truth, exposes error, corrects what has gone out of order, and teaches believers how to live. We seek to read Scripture in context and allow Scripture to interpret Scripture.
The Holy Spirit is present and active in the believer and in the Assembly. He teaches, convicts, leads, comforts, gives gifts, and reveals Christ. Spiritual experience must still be tested by Scripture. Emotion, a title, or a claim of revelation does not settle whether something is from God.

Truth must reach prayer, character, marriage, family, relationships, work, money, spiritual conflict, fellowship, calling, and service. Doctrine has not completed its work when it remains in a notebook but does not correct the life of the believer.
Calling is from God. Recognition comes through spiritual fruit, biblical qualification, and the witness of the body. Training can prepare a person to serve, but a certificate cannot manufacture a calling, create a spiritual rank, or make anyone a master over the brethren.

About Bola Olu-Jordan (Pastor Bo)
Bola Olu-Jordan, widely known as Pastor Bo, is an ordained pastor, Bible teacher, author, pastoral counselor, and ministry resource developer who has served in Christian ministry for more than three decades.
He entered ministry through the conventional pastoral path, planted and shepherded a growing congregation, and was offered positions that could have advanced him within that system. Yet the call of God led him away from building a ministry around position, title, or personal success and into the corrective work that became CRYOUT.
Today, Pastor Bo is a familiar public name rather than a claim to elevated rank within the Assembly. He serves among the brethren and is part of the eldership of Assembly of the Acts Christian Fellowship. He teaches through BosVoice, provides pastoral counseling through The Faithfully Project, writes and develops books and ministry resources, and helps give direction to the wider work of CRYOUTREACH.
His work is marked by close biblical reasoning, a willingness to question inherited Christian assumptions, attention to the private burdens people carry, and the conviction that no human leader should occupy the place of Christ or the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer.
