Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 29, 2026
Last Updated: August 29, 2026
CRYOUT Ministry Outreach Inc. ("CRYOUT," "we," "us," or "our") operates cryoutreach.org and the ministry programs offered through it, including Assembly of the Acts Christian Fellowship, pastoral counseling services, and the Faithfully Project (Faithfully Restored, Faithfully Prepared, Faithfully Matched, Faithfully Connected, and related offerings).
We take people's trust seriously, especially because some of what we do involves sensitive, personal parts of someone's life: their faith, their relationships, their past. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do (and don't do) with it. It's written to reflect what CRYOUT actually does today, not a generic template.
This is not a substitute for legal advice, and it should be reviewed by an attorney before it governs any paid service, before Faithfully Connected launches in-person meetups, and any time our practices change materially.

What's collected automatically
Standard technical data collected by our website platform (Wix): IP address, browser and device type, general location, pages viewed, and similar analytics. Used only to keep the site running securely and to understand how it's used.
3. Sensitive Information We Handle, and How We Treat It
Some of what CRYOUT collects is more sensitive than a typical church website, and we want to be direct about it rather than bury it in boilerplate.
Counseling and spiritual care information. When you request pastoral counseling or complete a Faithfully Project intake form, you may share details about your relationships, your past, or your faith walk. We use this only to prepare for and provide the service you asked for, and to keep the minimum records needed to do that responsibly. We do not use this information for marketing.
Arno Profile System. Bo is a licensed administrator of the Arno Profile System, a structured relational/personality assessment used in Faithfully Restored and Faithfully Prepared. This is a real, standardized instrument, and we're not going to describe it as something less than it is. At the same time, it is administered as part of pastoral and relational guidance, not as a clinical diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for licensed mental health treatment. Your results are used to guide your program experience and, where you request it, a debrief conversation, and are not sold or shared for unrelated purposes.
Faithfully Deep (Spiritual Cleansing Mapping). This is an optional assessment inside Faithfully Prepared, offered when someone's history or earlier assessments suggest a deeper spiritual layer worth addressing. It is administered personally by Bo, in his capacity as a licensed counselor and deliverance minister, and framed as pastoral care and prayer support, not medical or psychological diagnosis. Because this touches on deeply personal spiritual and relational history, we treat this data with the highest level of restriction in how it's stored and who can access it, and we do not use it for anything beyond the pastoral purpose for which it was given.
Matchmaking and relational preference data (Faithfully Matched, Faithfully Connected). To make a meaningful match or connection, we may ask about things like relationship goals, faith
background, and personal preferences. Some of what people volunteer in this context can touch on categories like race, ethnicity, or other protected characteristics, even though we don't require it. We collect this only to serve the matching purpose, don't sell it, and don't use it for advertising.
We do not sell any of the above, ever, to anyone, for any reason.
4. Payment and Donation Information
Payments for books, program registration, and donations are processed through Wix and its payment partners (which may include Wix Payments, PayPal, or Stripe). CRYOUT does not store your full card number. We keep records of the transaction itself (amount, date, what it was for) for accounting, tax, and donor-communication purposes.
Donor information is never rented, sold, or shared with outside organizations for their own marketing. If we ever changed this practice, we would tell you before it happened, not after.
5. In-Person Safety: Faithfully Connected
Faithfully Connected is designed to facilitate real, in-person connection between people, not an anonymous app experience. Because it may involve arranging in-person meetings between people who don't yet know each other well, we want to be upfront: CRYOUT does not conduct criminal background checks or independently verify claims participants make about themselves unless we explicitly say we do for a specific tier of the program. Participants are responsible for exercising their own judgment and caution, including meeting in public settings, especially for early meetings. Details on what verification (if any) is provided will be spelled out in the program's own terms before you join, and this section will be updated once that structure is finalized.
6. Who Is This For (Age)
The general cryoutreach.org website is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13; we don't knowingly collect information from children that age without parental consent.
Pastoral counseling, Faithfully Restored, Faithfully Prepared, Faithfully Matched, and Faithfully Connected are relational and marriage-preparation services intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to register for or submit intake information to any Faithfully Project program. If we learn someone under 18 has submitted intake information to one of these programs, we will delete it and, where appropriate, direct the family to age-appropriate resources instead.
7. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
-
Respond to inquiries, prayer requests, and program interest
-
Administer counseling and Faithfully Project services you've requested
-
Process payments, donations, and registrations
-
Communicate about programs, appointments, and resources
-
Keep basic records needed for ministry administration, accounting, and legal compliance
-
Improve the website and understand how it's used
-
Protect the ministry, our participants, and the website from fraud or misuse
We do not use counseling, Arno Profile, Faithfully Deep, or matchmaking data for advertising, and we do not sell it, full stop.
8. Cookies and Advertising
Right now, cryoutreach.org uses Wix's standard site-functionality and analytics cookies only. We do not currently run targeted advertising, retargeting pixels (such as a Meta or Google Ads pixel), or cross-context behavioral tracking on this site.
If that changes, for example if we add advertising tools to grow program awareness, we will update this policy before those tools go live, and we will disclose clearly what's being tracked and how to opt out. This section is a live commitment, not a one-time statement, and we intend to keep it current as our marketing tools evolve.
9. How We Share Information
We share information only with those who need it to help us operate:
-
Wix, our website host
-
Payment processors (Wix Payments, PayPal, Stripe, or similar)
-
Thinkific, our course delivery platform, and Brevo, our email/CRM platform, for program participants
-
Email delivery providers
-
Accountants, legal counsel, and similar professional advisors
-
Authorized CRYOUT staff and ministry workers who need access to do their job
-
Government authorities, only when required by law or necessary to protect someone's safety or our legal rights
Service providers may only use your information to perform services for us, not for their own purposes.
10. Confidentiality and Its Limits
We handle counseling and spiritual care information with discretion. But no email system, web form, or online platform can be guaranteed perfectly private or secure, and pastoral confidentiality has real limits under the law, including situations involving suspected abuse or neglect, a genuine risk of serious harm to someone, or a court order. Specific confidentiality terms for a given counseling relationship will be spelled out in that program's intake or service agreement.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards, access controls, secure connections, and limits on who can see sensitive information, to protect what you share with us. No system is completely secure, and we can't promise perfection, but we take this seriously, especially for counseling, Arno Profile, and Faithfully Deep records, which are restricted to the smallest number of people necessary.
If there's ever a data breach affecting your personal information, and you're a Texas resident, we will notify you as required under the Texas Identity Theft Enforcement and Protection Act. For residents of other states, we'll follow the applicable breach notification law where one exists.
12. How Long We Keep Information
-
General inquiries and newsletter subscriptions: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them
-
Donation and transaction records: retained as required for tax and accounting purposes (generally at least seven years, consistent with IRS recordkeeping requirements for nonprofits)
-
Counseling, Arno Profile, and Faithfully Deep records: retained only as long as reasonably needed for the pastoral relationship and any legal recordkeeping obligation, then securely deleted or anonymized; we are working toward a defined retention schedule for this category specifically and will update this section once that's finalized
13. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to confirm what we have on you, correct it, delete it, or give you a copy of it. Email info@cryoutreach.org with the subject line Privacy Request, and include enough detail for us to verify who you are. We may need to ask a few verifying questions before acting on sensitive requests, particularly for counseling or assessment records.
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails anytime using the link in the email, or by contacting us directly. This won't stop transactional messages like receipts or appointment confirmations.
14. Third-Party Platforms
Interacting with us on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Substack, or a podcast platform is also governed by that platform's own privacy policy. Anything you post publicly, comments, testimonials, reviews, may be visible to others; please don't post confidential details in a public space. We will get your permission before publicly sharing an identifiable counseling story or testimony, unless the law allows or requires otherwise.
15. Changes to This Policy
We'll update the date at the top of this page when we make changes, and we'll flag material changes, especially anything affecting counseling data, Faithfully Project assessments, or advertising practices, more visibly than a routine update.
