When to Push Back Against Illegitimate Power
There are moments when silence is wisdom. There are also moments when silence becomes consent. When Jesus told Pilate that he had no authority over him, he taught us a lesson in rebuffing what God never authorized in our lives.
This week’s teaching examines how Jesus stood before Pilate and told him to his face that he had no authority over him. He did not surrender His authority. Believers must learn the difference between humility and unlawful submission.
